Agnes

I followed the “DIY Breton top” by Sewn to make this, based on the Agnes pattern (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4uub1hngN8I)
I love the style of the Agnes and how close fitting it is. This version is from a ponte that has a good amount of stretch and is a wonderful fit. I’m pleased the adjustment to give it a slash neck was so easy.
I have made a couple of Agnes’ before but I’ve made mistakes in fabric selection – I’ve previously picked fabrics that (a) don’t have enough stretch or (b) show the white background of the fabric through when stretched, so this becomes obvious over the bust. No pictures of these!
I’d say a good pattern for a beginner but a more advanced beginner for making a good fabric choice!
Took me about 2 hours including cutting out to make this version.
