A gorgeous, versatile top

I really enjoyed making this top. The pattern instructions were very easy to follow, though I actually used the sewalong on the Friday Pattern Company website most of all. I took my time over making it but even so, it came together really quickly despite the added details that make it the top that it is. I made mine from a double gauze which I think is great for giving the puffed sleeves and ruffle structure, but also giving drape to the body of the top so it’s comfortable and not stiff. There’s definitely a lot of ease to the pattern, so I’d recommend sizing down if you’re between sizes as I was. I can certainly see myself making more of these in future and playing around with different fabrics for a different look.
