A comfortable classic

I recently made the Lahja for the first time and this happened to be my first ever dressing gown as well! I received this viscose challis as part of the Minerva Ambassador programme and it made for a lovely drapey robe I can slouch around the flat in.

This was not a very complicated make and came together really quickly. I did french seams and slipstitched the collar down rather than stitch in the ditch. I think the hem allowance is missing from the instructions for the sleeves – I did a 6cm allowance.

This is the short view in a size Medium which I chose according to my measurements. I’m around 5 ft 7 and it comes to just below my knee which I am happy with.

Overall I am really happy with my Lahja and would recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their night or loungewear!
