A colourful Billie to end the year
A review of Tilly and the Buttons Billie Sweatshirt and Dress

This is the second Billie I’ve made in the fee weeks since I got the pattern. The first one was a sweater dress version with a straight sleeve.
This is the top version with the voluminous sleeve.
I’m really loving the big sleeves this year and I can’t do anything but smile wearing all this colour.
The pattern instructions are clear as you would expect from Tilly and it is certainly achievable for beginners to attempt.
I would recommend you don’t use anything too thick for the balloon sleeve as you might not get it through your machine and the cuffs would be quite bulky. The fabric I’ve used here is a french Terry and it is perfect.
