1920s Tulip Kimono

I have written a full review of this sewing pattern over my blog, here is the link: https://missjennyfrances.wordpress.com/2017/03/10/decades-of-style-1920s-tulip-kimono-sewing-pattern-review/

The pattern is easy to use, the PDF assembles easily, and the sizing lines are clear and concise. In addition to listing sizing measurements, finished garment measurements are also included. This makes the process of choosing the correct size with the desired amount of ease much easier.

This pattern is quick to sew (although I chose to fully line my version, add piping accents, and I also had directional fabric to work from, so my personal sewing time on this project was increased). I made-up the Kimono in Liberty Cotton Twill, however many fabrics could be used – velvet, printed/plain cottons, linen, silk, lightweight wools etc.

This is my first experience of using a Decades of Style pattern, and I would most definitely buy from them again. Highly recommend this company, this pattern was a joy to work with.
