This is a great pattern with very well designed pockets, either front buttoned like this or with a zip. It’s the second Pauline Alice pattern I’ve made, and I’m very impressed with the design and the instructions.

I made it in a heavyish cotton print which I pre washed a few times and it was nice to work with. It was initially going to be a quick experiment with a view to making a smarter version. But I love wearing it now! I lengthened it by about 3 inches although I’m only 5 ft 5 because I prefer skirts over the knee.
