There’s something about a Cleo in Autumn, isn’t it? Especially in warm and earth-tone needlecord, just lovely! I made two of the pinafore in mini version. My first was in brown chocolate colour needlecord, that I love looking but not so much wearing as it clings to my tights pretty much all the time. Second one in denim, that I had just finished, so here’s to hoping for a change 😀 The pattern is easy, beginner friendly, and Tilly’s instruction as always just couldn’t be any clearer. I did a bit of tweaking but nothing substantial, just added a little bit of fabric to the pockets to add a pop of colour and I finished the edges with bias binding. I wanted a cleaner finish than regular zigzag, and as I don’t have an overlocker, I went with the Hongkong finish option. More about this lovely Cleo on my blog https://thefairstitch.wordpress.com/2017/11/13/autumn-sewing-cleo-pinafore/
