Cleo Pinafore & Dungaree Dress

Easy, yet beautiful pattern. I think the front pocket, buckles and topstitching are such great details on this one. It is easy to construct and falls into the fast-sew category. I took my time with topstitching but otherwise it really is a fast make. I used clip on buckles as I had them already at home and they work great! It is great for styling with loose tops or shirts.
The one thing I still find a bit problematic is the side view in some outfits. If I wear it with a fitting top, the dress looks as if it is on a hanger. I was thinking of taking it in and adding some sort of side opening (buttons or zipper). I took it slightly in on the sides as much as I could to still be able to get it on over my head. I will have few more wears out of it before I decide if it needs more work or not.

Overall it is a great pattern and fun to make. I do recommend to line it if you plan to ever wear it over tights because it does love to go up while walking.
