A-line skirt

Reviewed by Caroline CJ Made on 16th May, 2016

Clothes offer a range of lovely A line skirt patterns each season. This particular design is of the famous London building the Trellick Tower from the design company ‘People will always need Plates’ which is no longer available. The have done collaborations with the paper artist Rob Ryan and have a whimsical design style.
It is a great beginners introduction to dress-making with very clear and detailed instructions. They also provide you with the thread, zip and a Clothkits label.
This company had a resurgence in the 2008 from their 1970’s / 1980’s past when I remember my mum making me clothes from the company.
Clothkits were the original company (like the online company Sprout) who print the design / pattern straight onto your chosen fabric although with much more limited designs and patterns.
Overall a fun afternoon project.
