Make With Mandi Walla Jumpsuit

Buy the Walla Jumpsuit sewing pattern from Make With Mandi. The Walla Jumpsuit features an elasticated waist, button front and relaxed fit. This jumpsuit is super comfortable. Since the fastening finishes at the waist, you will need to do the jumpsuit wiggle to get in and out of it, but once you have it on, you won’t want to take it off!

The pattern comes with short and long sleeve options and optional back patch pockets. You can tighten or loosen the elastic to create your desired look and fit – or maybe even go without the elastic to create a boilersuit style.

Suggested fabrics: Light to mid-weight woven fabrics such as twill, viscose, linen and linen blends, chambray, etc. If you fancy using something with a little stretch, such as lightweight stretch denim, that would also be good. The fabric shown in the photo is a lightweight organic Tencel twill.

Fabric requirements: 

Sizes 6 – 16: 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 3.4 m (3.7 yd) // 120 cm (48″) wide fabric: 4.7 m (5.15 yd).

Sizes 18 – 26: 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 4.6 m (5 yd) // 120 cm (48″) wide fabric: 5.4 m (5.9 yd).

To make short sleeve version, reduce fabric requirement by 0.3 m.

Sizing: UK 6 – 26. Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

This pattern has been drafted for a B cup and 5’6″ height.

Notions: Four or five 20L (12 mm) buttons; enough 1″ wide elastic to go around your waist; 40 cm x 25 cm iron-on fusing for button stand and facings; thread to match fabric.
