Buy the V1868 top and trousers sewing pattern from Vogue. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner/intermediate dressmaker. Loose-fitting top has built up neck and front variations. Pleated front pants, above ankle length, have fly front, elasticized back, side seam pockets and length variations. View C is underlined. View D is lined.

Suggested fabrics: Wovens or Stretch Wovens, Fine Wools, Lt.Wt. Wool Crepe, Lt.Wt. Wool Gabardine, Lt.Wt. Linen. Interfacing: Lightweight Fusible. Underlining/Lining: Lining Fabric.

Note: Extra fabric maybe needed to match plaids, stripes, one-way design fabrics or for shrinkage.

Sizing: A – J (approx. UK sizes 8 – 32). based on our standardised size chart. Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread. A, B: Seven 1″ buttons, 4 yds. (3.7 m) (3.70m) of ½” steam a seam. B: 1 ³/₄ yds. (0.7 m) (1.80m) of 1″ (2.5 cm) wide ribbon opt. C, D: One 7″ zipper, two ½” buttons, ⁵/₈ yd. (0.6 m) (0.60M) of 1″ (2.5 cm) wide elastic.
