Buy the V7937 skirt sewing pattern from Vogue® Patterns. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner dressmaker. This below mid-knee, semi-fitted straight skirt has front princess seams and a side zipper. A, B: Back vents. B: Tab with button trim. C: Back pleats. D: Gored back and shaped hem.

Suggested fabrics: Wool crepe, gabardine, lightweight linen, wool and wool blends, stretch wovens.

Note: Unsuitable for obvious diagonals or uneven plaids. Use nap yardages/layouts for pile, shaded or one-way design fabrics. Allow extra fabric to match even plaids or stripes.

Sizing: A (6-8-10), D (12-14-16), FW (18-20-22), approx. UK sizes A (4/6 – 6/8), D (8 – 12), FW (14 – 18/20). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.
