Buy the V8975 dress and jacket sewing pattern from Vogue® Patterns. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner dressmaker. The very loose-fitting, pullover dress (close-fitting through the bust) has a seam detail forming draped pockets and a shaped hemline. The front is longer than the back. A: Bias binding for neckline and armholes. B: Neck band. The loose-fitting, unlined jacket has dropped shoulders, purchased drawstring for the neckline, front and back cut-in-one, side panel, no shoulder or side seams and side front slits. A, B, C: Stitched hem. Wrong side shows on front hemline A, B and draped front C.

Suggested fabrics: A, B: Two-way stretch knits: rayon/spandex, cotton/spandex // C: Stretch mesh.

Note: Unsuitable for obvious diagonals. Fabric requirement allows for nap, one-way design or shading. Extra fabric may be needed to match design or for shrinkage.

Sizing: Y (XS-S-M), ZZ (L-XL-XXL), approx. UK sizes Y (4 – 10), ZZ (12 – 24). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.
