Buy the V8997 dress sewing pattern from Vogue® Patterns. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner/intermediate dressmaker. This lined dress has princess seams, close-fitting bodice, raised waist, stitched hems, back zipper and unlined sleeve variations. A: Sleeve, and narrow hem. B and C: Sleeveless. A, B, C: Flared skirt. D, E, F: Semi-fitted skirt and back slit.
Suggested fabrics: Linen blends, crepe, tropical wool, broadcloth // Fusible interfacing (bodice).
Note: Unsuitable for obvious diagonals. Fabric requirement allows for nap, one-way design or shading. Extra fabric may be needed to match design or for shrinkage.
Sizing: A5 (6-8-10-12-14), E5 (14-16-18-20-22), approx. UK sizes A5 (4/6 – 10), E5 (10 – 18/20). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.
Notions: 14″ zipper, hook and eye.
