Buy the VNA Top sewing pattern from Fehr Trade. The VNA is a close-fitting, sleeveless workout top inspired by a 1930s Vionnet evening gown! It features a front V-neck, curved under bust seam, and distinctive angular seaming in back. The neckline and armhole edges are finished with binding, and there are no side seams.

What we think: The lines of this top are really striking and great for upping your sewing game. It can be mixed and matched with other Fehr Trade patterns to make a full set.

Suggested fabrics: Lycra jersey with at least 50% stretch in both directions and good recovery (wicking Lycra is ideal!).

Fabric requirements: 1 m (1 1/4 yd). Note that if you are lengthening the pattern, you may need to buy a bit more fabric.

Sizing: XXS – XL (approx. UK 6 – 18). Please check the size chart. This pattern is drafted with negative ease (the finished garment will be 90% of body measurements), so if you are making this for casualwear, it is recommended you make one size larger for increased wearing ease.

Notions: Twin needle for elastic edges and hem (or coverstitch); small scraps of lightweight fusible interfacing.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (12 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (1 sheet); projector file. This pattern is layered so you can print just the size(s) you need.
