Buy the Liliana Vest sewing pattern from Vikisews. Liliana is a semi-fitted vest. Its bust darts have been transferred to the princess seams and the double welt pocket line. The back features shoulder darts and princess seams, as well as tabs that fasten with D-rings to further cinch in the waist. The back hem features an inverted V-shaped detail. The vest has a centre fastening with four buttons and buttonholes, and is fully lined. Liliana is high-hip length.

Note: Liliana has been designed to be worn as a stand-alone piece, without an underlayer, and as such the armhole level is relatively high. If you’re planning on wearing this vest over a sweater or a blouse, the designer recommends deepening the armhole for increased comfort.

Suggested fabrics: Wool suiting, cotton, linen, crepe, gabardine, denim.

For the lining, the designer recommends artificial fibres (viscose), blends (viscose + elastane, viscose + polyester), or synthetic fibres (polyester, polyester + elastane).

Fabric requirements: When purchasing fabric, buy 5% more than required to account for shrinkage.

Main: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric: 0.65 – 1.15 m (3/4 – 1 1/4 yd).

Lining: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric: 0.55 – 0.65 m (5/8 – 3/4 yd).

Sizing: 34 – 46 (approx. UK 6 – 14/16, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements. This pattern is only available up to size 46 (even though additional sizes appear on the size chart).

Vikisews patterns are designed for a B/C cup.

The PDF pattern includes 4 height options:

Height 1 = 154 – 160 cm (5’1″ – 5’3″)
Height 2 = 162 – 168 cm (5’4″ – 5’6″)
Height 3 = 170 – 176 cm (5’7″ – 5’9″)
Height 4 = 178 – 184 cm (5’10” – 6′1″)

Model Liana: Height 166 cm (5’5″) / Bust 85 cm (33 1/2″) / Waist 63 cm (24 3/4″) / Hips 92 cm (36 1/4″). Liana is wearing size 36 in height 2.

Model Vika: Height 164 cm (5’5″) / Bust 84 cm (33 1/8″) / Waist 64 cm (25 1/4″) / Hips 90 cm (35 3/8″). Vika is wearing size 36.
