Buy the Becky Dress sewing pattern from Vikisews. Becky is a semi-fitted trapeze dress finished with a free-hanging lining. The dress features a deep square neckline and fastens with an invisible zipper in the centre back seam. The front is fitted with bust darts transferred to the side seams, while the back features shoulder darts transferred to the neckline. The long set-in sleeves are made up of two pieces. Becky is above-knee length.

Suggested fabrics: Dress-weight suiting, dress-weight wool, wool crepe, gabardine.
For the lining, choose lining fabrics made of artificial fibres (viscose), blends (viscose + elastane, viscose + polyester), or synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane).
The dress in the photos is made of suiting fabric. The fabric is medium weight, pliable, soft, and structured. It stretches slightly and resists wrinkles. The fibre content is 80% viscose and 20% spandex. The lining is 100% viscose.
Fabric requirements: When purchasing fabric, buy 5% more than required to account for shrinkage.
Main: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric, with a directional print/nap: 1.4 – 1.75 m (1 1/2 – 1 7/8 yd) // 150 cm (59″) wide fabric, with a directional print/nap: 1.1 – 1.67 m (1 1/4 – 1 7/8 yd).
Lining: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric: 0.84 – 1.65 m (7/8 – 1 3/4 yd).
Sizing: 34 – 52 (approx. UK 6 – 20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
Vikisews patterns are designed for a B/C cup.
