The Vero Beach Set includes two pieces perfect for throwing on over a bathing suit or just wearing as a cute summer outfit with a tank or cami! The top is a relaxed-fit woven hoodie with a front placket, kangaroo pocket, and extra-long sleeves. The bottoms are fitted, elastic-waist, mid-rise shorts with front hip pockets, back darts, a large back patch pocket, and a bias finished tulip hem. Pair this all-in-one outfit with some cute sandals and you’re ready for summer!

Suggested fabrics: Shirt: Light to midweight drapey woven fabrics such as linen or linen blends, cotton, cotton blends, and rayon blends // Shorts: These shorts work with nearly any woven fabric from a drapey rayon to a structured twill. The fit will be different based on fabric, but most wovens are suitable.

Fabric requirements: 

Shirt: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: Sizes 0-10, 2.25 yd (2.1 m) / Sizes 12-24, 3 yd (2.7 m) // 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: All sizes, 2 yd (1.8 m).

Shorts: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: Sizes 0-10, 1.5 yd (1.4 m) / Sizes 12-24, 2 yd (1.8 m) // 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: All sizes, 1.5 yd (1.4 m).

Sizing: US 0 – 24 (approx. UK 8 – 26). Please check the size chart and pattern measurements.

Notions: Matching thread; 4″ of 20″ wide or wider lightweight fusible interfacing (woven or tricot); 2″ elastic: 1 yd of for sizes 0 – 12 or 1.5 yd for sizes 14 – 24 // Optional: 2 eyelets or grommets; 2 yd of drawstring or similar suitable cording.
