Buy the Child/Baby Swingset Tunic and Skirt sewing pattern from Oliver + S. Ready, set, play! Children’s top is tunic-length with thin spaghetti straps, buttoned placket in back, and gathered ruffle. The full, gathered skirt features elastic and drawstring casings and a built-in lining for added fullness.

Suggested fabrics: Light- to medium-weight woven fabrics like cotton broadcloth, batiste or calico, and lightweight linen, denim, chambray, or seersucker.

0 – 24 months: Tunic, Main Fabric, 3/8 – 1/2 yard (0.3 – 0.5 m) // Tunic, Lining, 1/8 – 1/4 yard (0.1 – 0.2 m) // Skirt, Main Fabric, 3/8 – 3/4 yard (0.3 – 0.7 m) // Skirt, Lining, 3/8 – 3/4 yard (0.3 – 0.7 m).

2 – 5 years: Tunic, Main Fabric, 1/2 – 5/8 yard (0.5 – 0.6 m) // Tunic, Lining, 1/4 yard (0.2 m) // Skirt, Main Fabric, 7/8 – 1 yard (0.8 – 0.9 m) // Skirt, Lining, 3/4 – 7/8 yard (0.7 – 0.8 m).
