Buy the Slip Dress sewing pattern from Ann Normandy Design. Slipping into an Ann Normandy Design slip dress is not only about easy comfort. It’s a powerhouse sewing pattern. Endlessly versatile, it can be layered under or over other garments. Or just keep it simple and sew it with a heavier white or neutral linen, slip on some sandals, wear a vibrant lipstick and you’re ready for the day. It features:

Flattering A-line silhouette
Cut just above the knee
Formfitting bust
Flat felled seams to neatly encase raw seam edges and give weight and stability to the garment for the perfect drape

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: This pattern is designed to work with heavy, rustic linens with a minimum weight of 8 oz. It is recommended that the dress be self lined if using a lighter weight fabric.

Fabric requirements:
Crosswise/selvedge edge hem:
45″ (115 cm) or 60″ (150 cm) wide fabric: XS-M, 1 3/4 yards (1.6 m); L, 1 7/8 yards (1.7 m); XL-2X, 2 yards (1.8 m).

Lengthwise layout:
45″ (115 cm) wide fabric: 2 3/8 yards (2.2 m).
60″ (150 cm) wide fabric: XS-L, 1 1/4 yards (1.2 m); XL, 1 7/8 yards (1.7 m); 2X, 2 yards (1.9 m).

Sizing: XS – 2X (approx. UK 10 – 20). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements. Note: The bust is formfitting; be mindful of the finished size measurements and consider a size up if you would like more ease.

PDF pattern includes: Sewing instructions; letter/A4 pattern for home printing; 36″ (91.4 cm) wide copy shop pattern; A0 (33.1″ x 46.8″/84 cm x 118.9 cm) pattern.
