Buy the S9687 Jacket, Poncho and Trousers sewing pattern from Simplicity. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner dressmaker. Anorak style jacket with hood features front cargo pocket, half front zipper, elastic waist cording, and elastic at sleeves. View B poncho features half zip front and snap fasteners under sleeves. View C trousers with drawstring ties and elasticized cuffs.

Suggested fabrics: Poplin, denim, cottons, nylons. B in pre-quilted fabrics, fleece, boiled wool, rainwear fabric. C also in knit. Interfacing: lightweight fusible.

Sizing: K5 (8-10-12-14-16) Y5 (18-20-22-24-26) which is approx. UK sizes K5 (6-12), Y5 (14-24). based on our standardised size chart. Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread. A: One 7″ (18cm) zipper, 7/8 yd, (0.8m) of 1/2″ (1.3cm) wide single fold bias tape, 2 1/8 yds. (2.0m) of 1/2″ (1.3cm) wide double fold bias tape (for casing), 7/8 yd. (0.8m) of 1″ (2.5cm) wide elastic: 2 1/8 yds. (1.7m) of 3/8″ (1cm) elastic cord, two cord stoppers. B: 3/4 yd. (0.6m) of 1/2″ (1.3m) wide single fold bias tape, four snap fasteners, one 9″ (23cm) zipper. C: 2 1/8 yds. (1.7m) of 3/8″ (1cm) wide drawstring cord, 1 7/8 yds. (1.8m) of 1″ (2.5cm) wide elastic.
