Buy the S9642 Dress sewing pattern from Simplicity. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner/intermediate dressmaker. V-neck dress in three length variations with flounce. Dress has shaped bodice and short puffed or long sleeves gathered at the wrist. Separate pattern pieces for A, B, C and D cup sizes.

Suggested fabrics: Velvet, Rayons, Silky Types, Soft Cottons. Sleeve head: Medium-weight Netting or Organza. Interfacing: Lightweight Fusible.

Note: Extra fabric maybe needed to match plaids, stripes, one-way design fabrics or shrinkage.

Sizing: D5 (4-6-8-10-12) P5 (12-14-16-18-20) which is approx. UK sizes D5 (4/6 – 8), P5 (8– 16). based on our standardised size chart. Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread. A,B,C: One 22″ (55cm) invisible zipper. Also for A: 3/4 yd. (0.7m) of 1/2″ (1.3cm) wide elastic.
