Buy the Lilian Blouse sewing pattern from Sew Over It. The Lilian Blouse features a button front, lovely shawl collar and choice of three sleeve lengths: short, 3/4 length or full length with a narrow cuff.

You get two blouses in one with this pattern. Sew up the double-ended darts at the front and back for a beautifully fitted blouse, or ignore the darts to create a contemporary boxy shape.

Wear Lilian with jeans for a great everyday look, or try the fitted version with the Ultimate Trousers or tucked into the Peggy Trousers or a pencil skirt for a touch of vintage.

Suggested fabrics: Light to medium weight fabrics with some drape, such as rayon, viscose or crepe. If you’re sewing Version 1, you could also use cotton lawn for a more structured look.

Fabric requirements: The fabric requirements for Version 1 and Version 2 are the same. The listed requirements are for the long sleeve. You will need 10 cm less fabric for the 3/4 length sleeve or 30 cm less for the short sleeve.

Sizes 6 – 20

1.15 m wide fabric: 2.2 m.

1.40 m wide fabric: 2.1 m.

Sizes 18 – 30

1.15 m wide fabric: 2.4 – 3.1 m.

1.40 m wide fabric: 2.4 m.

Sizing: UK 6 – 20 and UK 18 – 30 (approx. UK 6 – 20 and UK 20 – 32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size charts and finished garment measurements.

This pattern is split into two different blocks. The 6 – 20 size range is drafted for a B cup. The 18 – 30 size range is drafted for a D cup.

Notions: 70-80 cm of lightweight interfacing; five 12 mm buttons.
