Buy the Ruby Dress and Top sewing pattern from Made by Rae. This quick and easy dress or top features a contrast yoke and gathers for a comfortable fit without the need for bust darts. The armholes and neckline are bias-bound for an easy finish. Two lengths, dress (above the knee) and top (hip length) are included.

Suggested fabrics:
Main: Lighter fabrics with drape such as linen, rayon challis, shot cotton, voile, double gauze, or some knits.
Yoke: Mid- or light-weight cotton, linen, eyelet, lace, voile, or double gauze (avoid fabrics with stretch).
Fabric requirements:
44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: Yoke, 1/2 yd (0.5 m) // Dress main, 2 yd (1.8 m) // Top main, 1 1/2 yd (1.4 m).
54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: Yoke, 1/2 yd (0.5 m) // Dress main, 1 – 2 yd (0.9 – 1.8 m) // Top main, 3/4 – 1 1/2 yd (0.7 – 1.4 m).
Sizing: XXS – XL and plus sizes 1 – 3 (approx. UK 6/8 – 24/26, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
Notions: 1/4″ wide double-fold bias tape (prepackaged), 1 3/4 yd for XXS-S / 2 yd for M-XL / 2 1/4 yd for plus sizes 1-3, or an additional 1/4 yd of yoke fabric to cut your own.
