Buy the Baby/Child Elm T-shirt sewing pattern from Poppy & Jazz. The versatile Elm T-shirt is a great wardrobe staple for kids of all ages. There are two sleeve lengths, and you can sew a skinny or wider neckband. There is also the option to add a handy press stud opening on one shoulder, making it even easier to get over wriggly ones’ heads!

Suggested fabrics: Lightweight knit fabrics such as cotton jersey and viscose jersey. Be sure to pick something with lots of stretch that has good recovery.
Fabric requirements:
V1: 115 cm wide fabric: 40 – 110 cm // 140 cm wide fabric: 40 – 60 cm.
V2: 115 cm wide fabric: 40 – 60 cm // 140 cm wide fabric: 40 – 60 cm.
V3: 115 cm wide fabric: 40 – 60 cm // 140 cm wide fabric: 40 – 60 cm.
Sizing: Newborn – 6 years. Please check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
Notions: Ballpoint machine needle // Optional: stretch twin needle with a 3 mm gap between needles // V1: a small scrap of knit interfacing for stabilising the shoulder; 2-3 sets of 8 mm jersey press studs and the setting tool required.
PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4 print-at-home pattern (18 pages); US letter print-at-home pattern (20 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (1 sheet).
