Poppy & Jazz Baby/Child Daisy Dress

Buy the Baby/Child Daisy Dress sewing pattern from Poppy & Jazz. With a nod to the 1950s, the Daisy Dress makes a great party outfit. The pattern features a sweet little bodice, gathered skirt, cap sleeves and a peter pan collar. It opens up completely at the back to make dressing easy, and the design makes it perfect for fun contrasting fabrics!

Suggested fabrics: Lightweight woven fabrics such as cotton lawn, cotton poplin, linen and broderie anglaise.

Fabric requirements:

115 cm wide fabric: 75 – 130 cm.

140 cm wide fabric: 65 – 100 cm.

If you are using self bias binding, add an extra 30 cm for 0-24 months or 50 cm for 2-6 years.

If you want to make a dress with a contrast collar, you will need a 40 cm x 40 cm piece of contrast fabric.

Sizing: Newborn – 6 years. Please check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 50 cm of 90 cm wide lightweight interfacing; 9-12 12 mm plastic poppers or buttons; 1 m of pre-made bias binding (if not using self fabric); hand sewing needle.
