The Pocket Skirt is a free sewing pattern from Paper Theory Patterns for Peppermint Magazine. Put a little spring in your step with the adventure-ready Pocket Skirt! Peppermint teamed up with Tara Viggo of Paper Theory, a London-based sustainable patternmaker, to create this beautiful free pattern. Featuring a relaxed midi silhouette, a flattering gathered waistband and oversized ‘just in case’ panel pockets, this staple is the newest arrow in your trans-seasonal dressing quiver. Pair it with a crop, tuck in your favourite tee or layer with tights and trainers for casual park catch-ups or long lunches alike!

This is a free sewing pattern that can only be downloaded directly from Peppermint Magazine. Please click on this link to find out more.

Suggested fabrics: This pattern was designed especially for woven, medium to heavy weight fabrics like linen, double gauze, cotton twill or silk noil. It would also make up well in some lighter fabrics that have a draped quality like viscose twill, crepe de chine or silk satin.

Sizing: UK 6 – 28.
