Buy the Plitvice Top sewing pattern from Itch to Stitch. Invite comfort and elegance into your everyday life by way of the Plitvice Top! The cowl front with gathered bust shaping adds interest to a simple shape, the integrated cap sleeves are finished with arm bands, and the hip length hem is finished with a bottom band. Try using a knit fabric with vertical stretch to create a lower, drapier neckline, or use one with only horizontal stretch to create a higher neckline.

Suggested fabrics: Use a lightweight knit fabric with at least 75% horizontal stretch. Fabric with good drape, such as one with rayon or bamboo content, is ideal. The cowl will drape lower if using 4-way stretch fabric and higher if using 2-way stretch fabric.

Fabric requirements: 54″ (135 cm) wide fabric: 1 – 1 5/8 yd (90 – 150 cm).

Sizing: US 00 – 20 (approx. UK 8 – 22). Please check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 42″ (107 cm) of 3/8″ or 1/2″ (1 cm or 1.25 cm)-wide straight fusible stay tape (or you may cut your own using lightweight woven fusible interfacing on the straight grain).
