Buy the Child/Teen Hoony T-shirt or Sweatshirt sewing pattern from Petits D’om. Hoony is an oversized top with a wide body, round neckline, and three hem options: classic length, cropped, or asymmetrical (shorter in the front than in the back). Hoony has a dropped shoulder and a choice of elbow-length sleeves with fold-up hems or long sleeves with ribbed cuffs. The type of armhole makes it an easy pattern to sew, ideal for beginners who want to get started with stretch fabrics.

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Any kind of jersey works for the T-shirt. Pick a thicker fabric (sweat, fleece, knitted fabric, etc.) for the sweatshirt/jumper. Note the neckline bias and long sleeve cuffs should be cut from a fabric with at least 50% stretch (especially to allow the passage of the head).

Fabric requirements: 

Main: 140 cm (58″) wide fabric: 45 – 160 cm (18″ – 63″).

Neckline bias and long sleeve cuffs (if the main fabric has less than 50% stretch): 140 cm (58″) wide fabric: 15 cm (6″).

Sizing: 2 – 16 years. Please check the size chart.

Notions: Optional: Ready-made ribbing strip for long sleeve cuffs, 35 – 46 cm (13 3/4″ – 18 1/8″) long.
