Suggested fabrics:

Primary fabric: Use medium weight four-way or two-way stretch knit with great recovery and good drape, such as jersey, interlock, sweater knit and rib knit. Note that without good drape the top may gape at the cut outs. Ideal stretch is at least 40%.

Contrast fabric: Use light to medium weight woven fabric with or without stretch, such as shirting, twill, sateen, seersucker, crepe de chine and charmeuse. Avoid using feather weight fabric as the fabric may creep up when you move. Also avoid heavy woven fabric.

Fabric requirements:

Primary (knit) fabric: 60″ (150 cm) wide fabric: 1 3/8 – 1 1/2 yd (130 cm) // 54″ (135 cm) wide fabric: 1 3/8 – 1 1/2 yd (130 cm) // 44″ (115 cm) wide fabric: 1 3/8 – 2 yd (130 – 180 cm).

Contrast (woven) fabric: 60″ (150 cm) wide fabric: 3/4 – 1 yd (70 – 90 cm) // 54″ (135 cm) wide fabric: 3/4 – 1 1/2 yd (70 – 110 cm) // 44″ (115 cm) wide fabric: 1 – 1 1/2 yd (90 – 130 cm).

Sizing: US 00 – 20 (approx. UK 6 – 20). Please check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 40″ (102 cm) of 1/4″ (0.6 cm)-wide clear elastic, fusible bias tape or bi-stretch interfacing to stabilise cutouts.
