Buy the Epic Ruffle Coat sewing pattern from Pattern Sewciety. Give your winter wardrobe the style injection it deserves with this unique and stylish coat. Your choice of fabric can really take this garment from casual (yet spectacular!) daywear to more formal eveningwear. The coat features six in-seam bodice ruffles, waist darts in the front and back skirt, and optional welt and/or in-seam pockets. The coat is fully lined and can be finished with buttons or sew-on press studs.

Suggested fabrics:

Main: Polyester/wool melton, tweed, cotton twill, wool or wool blends.

Lining: Lining fabric.

Fabric requirements:

Main: 140 cm wide fabric: 4.5 m (5 yd).

Lining: 140 cm wide fabric: 2 m (2.25 yd).

Sizing: XXS – XXL (approx. UK 8 – 22, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Fusible interfacing for facing pieces and optional welt pocket; 5 coat buttons OR large sew-on press studs (optional).
