Buy the Olive Skirt sewing pattern from Dhurata Davies Patterns. This two-tiered, floaty, casual skirt is perfect for many occasions. The pattern includes two different designs and two ruffle lengths, giving you four options to choose from. Both designs have generous pockets, a practical elasticated waist with minimal gathers and a dipped hem. The pockets of views A and B are located on the side seams, while the pockets of views C and D are at the front, integrated in the side panels. Wear it with simple cropped tees, tank tops, camisoles or shirts in the warmer months, or layer it with knitwear, jackets and boots in the colder months. This is a beginner friendly pattern with no zips or buttons to install.

Suggested fabrics: Light to medium weight woven fabrics with a good amount of drape, like viscose, tencel, rayon, silk, crepe and some linens.

110 cm (42″) wide fabric: View A, 2.9 – 3.2 m (3.2 – 3.5 yd) // View B, 2.1 – 2.4 m (2.3 – 2.7 yd) // View C, 2.9  – 3.2 m (3.2 – 3.5 yd) // View D, 2.1 – 2.4 m (2.3 – 2.7 yd).

150 cm (59″) wide fabric: View A, 2.1 – 2.5 m (2.3 – 2.8 yd) // View B, 1.7 – 2 m (1.9 – 2.2 yd) // View C, 2.25 – 2.5 m (2.5 – 2.8 yd) // View D, 1.7 – 2 m (1.9 – 2.2 yd).

Sizing: UK 4 – 24. Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Approx. 5 cm x 50 cm (2″ x 20″) strip of fusible interfacing for the pocket opening on views A and B; 65 cm – 110 cm (26″ – 40″) length of 5 cm (2″) wide elastic.
