Noodlehead Explorer Tote

Buy the Explorer Tote sewing pattern from Noodlehead. Enjoy filling up the large size tote for an overnight getaway! Or make the small size tote for everyday use. Each size includes a front pocket, divided back pocket, and large divided interior slip pocket. Choose an open top or recessed zipper closure; a flap with a turn lock closure provides extra security for both. The large size has short handles and a detachable strap, while the small size has over the shoulder straps.

Suggested fabrics: Waxed canvas for contrast bottom (if substituting regular canvas, additional interfacing may be needed). Waxed canvas, cotton canvas, cotton/linen canvas, denim, home dec for exterior. Medium weight (5-6 oz.) fabric for accent. Quilting cotton for lining.

Small: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: Exterior fabric, 1 yd (0.9 m) // Lining fabric (includes interior pocket), 1 yd (0.9 m) // Contrast bottom, 1/2 yd (0.5 m) // Accent fabric (includes strap/handles), 1/4 yd (0.2 m).
