Buy the No. 8 Svaneke Skirt, Top and Blouse sewing pattern from How to Do Fashion. This pattern includes three garments that can be worn separately or together. Designed by Pia Storm, the look is feminine and vintage, yet modern. In combination with No. 9 Rønne, it is possible to create a complete wardrobe of beautiful summer ensembles.

Version 1 is a shirt with a peplum, rounded collar, and front placket with buttons. The shirt has bust darts and pleats in the waistline at both the front and back.

Version 2 is a cropped top with bust darts, a round neckline, and a zipper in the centre back seam.

Version 3 is a full-width skirt. Make it with four gores for medium width or six gores and pleats for extra width.

Suggested fabrics: Light to medium weight woven fabric. Cotton, silk, wool, viscose, cupro, linen or polyester. The final look of the garment will depend on the type of fabric you choose. Works well in fabrics with comfort stretch. Not suitable for jersey.

Fabric requirements:

Version 1: 110 cm wide fabric: 1.3 – 2 m // 140 cm wide fabric: 1 – 1.9 m.

Version 2: 110 cm wide fabric: 0.9 – 1.5 m // 140 cm wide fabric: 0.8 – 1.3 m.

Version 3: 110 cm wide fabric: 4 gores, 3.2 m / 6 gores, 5 m // 140 cm wide fabric: 4 gores, 1.6 m / 6 gores, 2.5 m.

Sizing: EU 32 – 54 (approx. UK 6/8 – 28/30, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
