This simple, empire-waist jumper designed especially for beginning sewists can be worn alone or layered over a blouse or shirt in cooler weather. View A presents a softly pleated, mid-calf-length skirt, while View B gives an A-line skirt with a single, inverted box pleat at centre back. Both views button up the back.

Suggested fabrics: Lightweight fabrics like quilting cotton, cotton chambray, fine twill, shirting, fine-wale corduroy, and light- to medium-weight linen.

Fabric requirements: 44″ – 45″ (112 – 114 cm) wide fabric:
6 months – 4 years: View A, 1 1/2 – 2 yards (1.4 – 1.8 m) // View B, 1 1/2 – 1 3/4 yards (1.4 – 1.6 m).

5 – 12 years: View A, 2 – 2 1/2 yards (1.8 – 2.3 m) // View B, 2 – 2 1/4 yards (1.8 – 2.1 m).

Sizing: 6 months – 4 years and 5 – 12 years. Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.
