Buy the Melville Cardigan and Vest sewing pattern from Liesl + Co. This versatile cardigan and vest pattern includes a V neck, classic styling, and clean lines. The facings give this design an especially professional appearance. View A is a slightly cropped-length cardigan with long sleeves and buttons up the front. Views B and C are longer vest styles that are sleeveless and buttonless with walking vents at the sides. View B ends at the knee while View C is midi length. Mix and match the views to create other styles as well. This pattern includes cup sizes (A/B, C and D) to help you get the perfect fit.

Suggested fabrics: This pattern works best with light- to medium-weight knit fabrics like cotton jersey, ponte, French terry, and stable sweater knits. Very drapey fabrics are less suitable for this style.

Fabric requirements: 58″ (147 cm) wide fabric: View A, 1 1/2 – 1 3/4 yd (1.4 – 1.6 m) // View B, 1 1/2 – 2 yd (1.4 – 1.8 m) // View C, 1 3/4 – 2 1/2 yd (1.6 – 2.3 m).

Sizing: XXS – XXL (approx. UK 6 – 20, based on our standardised size chart) with A/B, C and D cups. Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

To determine cup size, subtract upper bust measurement from full bust measurement. Up to 2″ difference = A/B cup, 3″ = C cup, 4″ = D cup.

Notions: Coordinating thread; featherweight fusible interfacing; four 1″ buttons (View A).
