Buy the Martina Coat sewing pattern from Vikisews. Martina is an oversized, double-breasted, fully lined coat with a straight cut. The front bust darts have been transferred into the shoulder seams. The coat features a notched collar with a separate collar stand. Martina has long, wide, two-piece, drop-shoulder sleeves. The front features topstitched welt pockets. There is a vent in the centre back seam. The coat closes with four sew-on snaps. The tie belt is threaded through belt loops in the side seams. Martina is above-ankle length.

Suggested fabrics: Wool, alpaca, cashmere, mohair.
For the lining, use lining fabrics made from artificial fibres (viscose), blends (viscose + elastane, viscose + polyester), or synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane).
The coat in the photos is made from a wool/cashmere coating blend. The fabric is medium-weight, soft, and pliable. The fibre content is 85% wool and 15% cashmere. The lining is 100% viscose.
Fabric requirements: When purchasing fabric, buy 5% more than required to account for shrinkage.
Main: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric, cut in one direction: 3.21 – 3.81 m (3 1/2 – 4 1/8 yd) // 150 cm (60″) wide fabric, cut in one direction: 2.8 – 3.54 m (3 – 3 7/8 yd).
Lining: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric: 1.79 – 2.77 m (2 – 3 yd).
Sizing: 34 – 52 (approx. UK 6 – 20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
Vikisews patterns are designed for a B/C cup.
Choose between 4 height options:
Height 1 = 154 – 160 cm (5’1″ – 5’3″)
Height 2 = 162 – 168 cm (5’4″ – 5’6″)
Height 3 = 170 – 176 cm (5’7″ – 5’9″)
Height 4 = 178 – 184 cm (5’10” – 6′1″)
Model Ksenia: Height 171 cm (5’7″) / Bust 86 cm (33 3/4″) / Waist 63 cm (24 3/4″) / Hips 92 cm (36 1/4”). Ksenia is wearing size 36 in height 2.
