Buy the Luzerne Trench Coat sewing pattern from Deer and Doe. Luzerne is a close-fitting, unlined, double-breasted trench coat with princess seams. It has pleats at the front and back, diagonal welt pockets and two-piece sleeves.

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following format:

Suggested fabrics: Light to medium weight twill or gabardine, coated fabric. Allow extra fabric to match stripes or plaids.

Fabric requirements: 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 3.5 m (3⅞ yd) // 115 cm (45”) wide fabric: 4.2 m (4⅝ yd).

Sizing: EU 34 – 46 (approx. UK 6 – 14/16). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements. Note: Sizes EU 48 – 52 are NOT included in this pattern, even though they appear on the size chart.

Notions: 1.6 m (1¾ yd) lightweight fusible interfacing; 9 buttons, 20 – 22 mm (¾” – ⅞”); 1 flat button, 20 – 22 mm (¾” – ⅞”); 10 m (11 yd) bias tape.
