Suggested fabrics: Lightweight drapey wovens with a soft hand such as rayon and polyester blends. Other lightweight wovens such as voile, chambray, or lawn also work but will lay differently.

Fabric requirements: 

Shorts or short skirt: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 2 yd (1.8 m) // 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: 2 yd (1.8 m).

Long romper: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 3 – 3.5 yd (2.7 – 3.2 m) // 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: 3 – 3.25 yd (2.7 – 3 m).

Maxi dress: 44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: 3 yd (2.7 m) // 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: 2.5 – 3 yd (2.3 – 2.7 m).

Sizing: 6 – 16 years. Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 1 pkg. of 1/4″ double fold bias tape; 1 yd of 1/2″ elastic; 1 shank button; 8″ length of thin cording, piping, or similar trim // Optional: Extra yd of elastic for gathered ankle trousers // For a functional drawstring: 1.5 yd of cording or similar trim for a drawstring; a small scrap of fusible interfacing.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; US letter/A4 print-at-home pattern (73 pages); 36″ wide copy shop pattern (2 sheets); A0 copy shop pattern (4 sheets). This pattern has layers so you can print only the size(s) you need.
