Buy the Lane Raglan Top sewing pattern from Hey June Handmade. The Lane Raglan is a knit top with tons of options. Features include a chest pocket, hood, wristbands, thumb hole wristbands, hem band, curved hem, and long, 3/4, or elbow length sleeves. A separate pattern is also included with a built-in full bust adjustment. This is a great beginner pattern because there is no hemming if you use bands, no sleeve setting, and you can use any kind of knit. The Lane also makes a great sweatshirt or even a rashguard! The sky’s the limit for this wardrobe staple!

Suggested fabrics: Knit fabric. Knits with less stretch will yield a fitted shirt, while stretchier knits will give you a slouchier look.

Fabric requirements: Banded hem, 1.5 – 2 yd (1.4 – 1.8 m) // Curved hem, 2 yd (1.8 m) // Hood, 0.75 yd (0.7 m) // Contrasting sleeves require 1 yd (0.9 m) for the sleeves and 1 yd (0.9 m) for the body.

Sizing: XS – 2X (approx. UK 6 – 20). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements. Choose size based on high bust measurement (if between, size down).

Notions: Stretch or ballpoint needle; small scraps of fusible knit interfacing if using the pocket or hood; 2 yd (1.8 m) cording or twill tape for ties if using the hood.
