Buy the Kalispell Dress sewing pattern from Itch to Stitch. A button-front dress with cap or flare sleeves, Kalispell has a touch of vintage and a touch of modern. Designed with front and back princess seams in the bodice and a full skirt with inverted box pleats, this fit-and-flare dress is flattering to many body types and sizes. You can choose to keep it at midi length, or lengthen or shorten the skirt for a different look. Options are included for A, B, C, D and DD cups.

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Main: Lightweight to medium weight woven fabric. Twill, broadcloth, chambray, and linen are great choices. Do not use fabric narrower than 142 cm (56″) as the front and back skirts are too wide to be cut on narrower fabric. // Lining: Lightweight, stable woven fabric such as cotton. The bodice is not lined, but the lining is used for the pockets.

Fabric requirements: Main (142 cm wide fabric – not suitable for narrower fabrics): Cap sleeve option, 2.4 – 2.6 m (2 5/8 – 2 7/8 yd) / Flare sleeve option, 2.6 – 2.9 m (2 7/8 – 3 1/8 yd) // Lining (115 cm wide fabric): 40 cm (3/8 yd).

Sizing: US 00 – 20 (approx. UK 8 – 22). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Lightweight to medium weight fusible woven or weft insertion interfacing; nine 1.25 cm (1/2″) buttons or snaps; 120 cm (47″) of 1.25 cm (1/2″)-wide fusible stay tape (or cut your own on straight grain).

PDF pattern includes: Digital pattern compatible with both US letter and A4 paper sizes; A0 (copy shop) file; step-by-step illustrated instructions. The print-at-home pattern is a layered PDF, so you can select your size before printing.
