Buy the Felix Jacket sewing pattern from Pattern Union. The Felix Jacket is an open front, unlined jacket with bound edges, but it can be lined if desired. Grouped cup sizes (A/B/C, D/E and F/G) eliminate the need for a FBA. It has a fitted, two-piece sleeve with optional cuffs, and can be made in three versions: bolero, mid-thigh or duster opera length.

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). Choose between A/B/C, D/E and F/G cup sizes. What is Copy Shop?

Note if purchasing copy shop printing: You will need to join the two A0 sheets at the indicated line.

Suggested fabrics: Linen, kantha, quilted fabrics, leather, tweed, wool, canvas, boiled wool, silk.

Fabric requirements: Short: 2 m (2.2 yd) // Mid-thigh: 2.7 m (3 yd) // Long: 3.6 m (4 yd). Amount will vary depending on size of pattern, fabric width, nap or directional print.

Sizing: 6 – 26 with cup sizes A/B/C, D/E and F/G. Please check the size chart.

To determine your cup size in Pattern Union patterns, subtract your upper bust measurement from your full bust measurement. If the rounded difference is 2.5 – 7.5 cm (1 – 3″), use A/B/C cup. If the rounded difference is 7.5 – 12.5 cm (3 – 5″), use D/E cup. If the rounded difference is 12.5 – 17.5 cm (5 – 7″), use F/G cup.

Notions: Thread // Optional: 5 cm (2″) wide bias binding; open-end zip.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions (with video links); A4/US letter print-at-home pattern; projector-friendly A0 copy shop pattern. The pattern has layers, so you can print only the size(s) you need. There is also a handy envelope design to assist with storage and reference.
