Buy the Era Jacket sewing pattern from The Sewing Workshop. This loose-fitting, below-waist jacket has a high turn-down collar with deep mitred corners, side vent openings extending above the waist, and one-piece sleeves with deep hems and vents. It has a two-button front closure and decorative buttons at the vent and sleeve openings. All edges are finished with wide hems and mitred corners.

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Linen, wool, medium to heavy weight silk, crisp sheers, cotton, boucle, knit, sweater knit, novelty weaves. Wrong side will show.

Fabric requirements: 

45″ (114 cm) wide fabric: 4 yd (3.7 m).

60″ (152 cm) wide fabric: 2 1/3 yd (2.1 m).

Sizing: XS – XXL (approx. UK 6 – 18/20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread; two 1″ buttons (optional); four 5/8″ buttons (optional).

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; print-at-home pattern (39 pages); 36″ wide copy shop pattern (1 sheet); A0 copy shop pattern (3 sheets).
