Buy the Clarissa Dress sewing pattern from Vikisews. Clarissa is a flared dress of moderate fullness. The close fit of the bodice is achieved by applying multiple rows of shirring. The semi-raglan sleeves are generously gathered along the sleeve caps into an elastic casing. The sleeves are long and voluminous and are gathered at the bottom with an elastic casing stitched 6 cm from the sleeve hem. The length of the dress is mid-calf.

Suggested fabrics: Cotton fabric with some body, linen, shirting denim, double gauze, crinkle cotton.
The dresses in the photos are made with dress/suiting weight linen. This fabric is medium weight, non-stretch and holds its shape well. The fibre content is 100% linen.
Fabric requirements: When purchasing fabric, buy 5% more than required to account for shrinkage.
Main: 130 cm wide fabric, to be cut in two stages with a directional print: 2.6 – 3.5 m.
Sizing: 34 – 52 (approx. UK 6 – 20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
Vikisews patterns are designed for a B/C cup.

Height 1 = 154 – 160 cm (5’1″ – 5’3″)
Height 2 = 162 – 168 cm (5’4″ – 5’6″)
Height 3 = 170 – 176 cm (5’7″ – 5’9″)
Height 4 = 178 – 184 cm (5’10” – 6′1″)
Model Anya: Height 169 cm / Bust 84 cm / Waist 64 cm / Hips 91 cm. Anya is wearing size 36 in height 2.
Model Yana: Height 174 cm / Bust 108 cm / Waist 90 cm / Hips 128 cm. Yana is wearing size 48 in height 3.
