Buy the Baby/Child Double Dutch Jacket and Skirt sewing pattern from Oliver + S. Dress up and jump! This reversible, colour-blocked jacket with dropped shoulder and on-seam buttonhole can be sewn either with or without sleeves. Pair the jacket with the accompanying flared-hem knit skirt for a great outfit. The skirt includes an elasticised waist with an easy facing.

Suggested fabrics: Jacket: light- to medium-weight woven fabrics like quilting cotton, broadcloth, flannel, lawn, poplin, shirting, voile, and linen (knits can be used, but use of a serger is not recommended in some places) // Skirt: knit fabrics like cotton jersey, interlock, and ponte.

6 months – 4 years: View A, Fabrics A and C, 3/4 – 1 yard (0.7 – 0.9 m) // View B, Fabrics A and C, 1/2 yard (0.5 m) // Views A and B, Fabrics B and D, 1/4 – 1/2 yard (0.2 – 0.5 m).
5 – 12 years: View A, Fabrics A and C, 1 -2 yards (0.9 – 1.8 m)// View B, Fabrics A and C, 1/2 – 3/4 yard (0.5 – 0.7 m) // Views A and B, Fabrics B and D, 1/2 yard (0.5 m).

58″ (147 cm) wide fabric:
