Buy the Castillo Cardigan sewing pattern from Itch to Stitch. Meet your new favourite cardigan! This long cardigan with large patch pockets is a layer you’ll reach for time and time again. The shoulder darts on the long, cuffed raglan sleeves give you a great fit, and when combined with the open neckline and hood, you have a lovely casual look. Wear it over jeans, or leggings and a tee – it’s a stylish wardrobe staple you’ll love!

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Use knit fabric with approx. 25%-50% horizontal and vertical stretch as well as good recovery. French terry, jersey and sweater knit are good choices. Keep in mind knit fabric with more stretch and drape will result in a more relaxed and longer fit, and vice versa. Note that the wrong side of the fabric will be visible when worn, so choose your fabric accordingly.

Fabric requirements: 54″ (135 cm) wide fabric: 2 1/8 – 2 3/4 yd (190 – 250 cm).

Sizing: US 00 – 20 (approx. UK 8 – 22). Please check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Lightweight knit or tricot fusible interfacing; 1/2″ or 3/8″ (1.25 cm or 1 cm)-wide pre-shrunk twill tape or ribbon (note the twill tape or ribbon will be visible when the cardigan is worn, so choose accordingly).

PDF pattern includes: Step-by-step illustrated instructions; US letter/A4 print-at-home pattern (29 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (2 sheets) // Layers: Yes // Projector file: No.
