Buy the B6896 Tops sewing pattern from Butterick. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner/intermediate dressmaker. Button front top has neck, collar and sleeve variations. Back has yoke with pleats.

Suggested fabrics: Cotton Blends, Broadcloth, Challis, Gingham, Lightweight Linen, Voile. Interfacing: Lightweight Fusible.
Note: Extra fabric maybe needed to match plaids, stripes, one-way design fabrics or shrinkage.
Sizing: W2 (20W- 28W) W3 (30W-38W), which is approx. UK sizes W2 (16/18 –26), W3 (28–34) based on our standardised size chart. Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
Notions: Thread. A, B: Six 1/2” (1.3 cm) buttons. Also for B: One pkg. of 1/2” (1.3 cm) wide single-fold bias tape. C: Five 1/2” (1.3 cm) buttons, 2 yds. (1.9 m) of 1/2” (1.3 cm) wide elastic.
