Buy the Betsy Skirt sewing pattern from Fibre Mood. Looking for a pattern that’s rewarding to make and wear? Say hi to Betsy! This asymmetrical skirt has an elasticised waist and high-low hem. It looks lovely calf-length, but other lengths work nicely too, and you can make Betsy in nearly any fabric. Fancy adding a sweet detail? Make two vertical buttonholes in the waistband and thread a ribbon or cord through to make a bow. Go casual or join the party… Betsy is always prepared.

Suggested fabrics: You can make the Betsy Skirt in just about any fabric, whether woven or knit, in a colour or a print. The sky’s the limit, so you can dream about linen, polyester or viscose crepe, festive satin, fine cotton, double gauze, jersey in cotton or viscose, leather or suede jersey… The list just goes on!

Fabric requirements: 110 cm wide fabric: 175 – 325 cm // 140 cm wide fabric: 175 – 185 cm.

Sizing: EU 32 – 58 / US 0 – 26 / UK 4 – 30 (approx. UK 6 – 26/28, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread; 4 cm wide elastic, 65 – 126 cm.

Note: Seam allowances are included in this pattern. The copy shop file we print for you shows the cutting lines only (not cutting lines and stitching lines) to make it easier to know what size to cut out.
