Buy the Baby/Child/Teen Imme Dress and Ada Shirt sewing pattern from WISJ Designs. This pattern includes a pinafore dress and a matching shirt to wear underneath.

Imme is a cute dress with or without ruffles, with a higher or lower cut bodice in one piece or with buttons. The skirt is knee length. There’s elastic in the waist. Imme is super simple, yet special – a perfect beginner’s project.

Ada is a great basic – a wide and comfy shirt with dropped sleeves. Choose between short, three-quarter or long sleeves. The long-sleeved option has elastic at the wrists. Ada comes with a wide neckband option for colder days or a regular cut neckband for wearing all year round.

Suggested fabrics:

Imme: Both stretch and woven fabrics will work. When using a thicker fabric, use a thinner fabric for the lining to make turning the bodice piece easier.

Ada: Stretch fabrics. Ribbing to finish the neckline. The wide neckband should definitely be finished with ribbing. For the regular neckband, you can use the main fabric, but be sure to check the stretch of the fabric.

Fabric requirements: 

Imme: 140 cm wide fabric: 80 – 150 cm.

Ada: 140 cm wide fabric: 50 – 130 cm // Ribbing (50 cm wide): 15 cm.

Sizing: 18 months – 14 years. Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 

Imme: 2 or 3 buttons (optional); fusible interfacing for reinforcing the button plackets (optional); 2 cm wide elastic for the skirt (measured around the waist).

Ada: 5 mm wide elastic for the wrists (long sleeves).

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (20 pages); A1 copy shop pattern (2 sheets) // Layers: Yes // Projector file: No.
