Buy the Baby/Child/Teen Fons Shirt and Lena Dress and Top sewing pattern from WISJ Designs. Fons is a shirt for boys and girls with cap sleeves and a colour block version. It’s a perfect project for beginners, and nearly all stretch fabrics are a great match with Fons. Lena is a dress or top with the same cap sleeves as Fons, but with a top and bottom piece. You can choose gathers at the front and/or back, or a pleat at the back. There’s a version for stretch fabrics and one for woven fabrics.

Suggested fabrics: 

Fons: This shirt has been designed for stretch fabrics with a neckline finish in the same fabric or ribbing. Fons is also perfect for colour blocking.

Lena: This dress and top has one version designed for stretch fabrics and one version for woven fabrics. Lena is at her most pretty when she’s made from fabrics with a fluid drape like modal, (bamboo) jersey, viscose, crepe, silk, cupro.

Fabric requirements: 

Fons: 140 cm wide fabric: 50 – 80 cm (see chart for colour blocking requirements).

Lena: 140 cm wide fabric: Dress, 70 – 160 cm // Top, 60 – 100 cm.

Sizing: 12 months – 14 years. Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Lena (woven): 2 or 3 buttons; light fusible interfacing for reinforcing the button plackets.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4 print-at-home pattern (15 pages for Fons, 30 pages for Lena); A0 copy shop pattern (3 sheets) // Layers: Yes // Projector file: No.
